A nail-biting end to the White Horse
Winter 2011/12 season

It's 10 p.m. on the Sunday before the final and I've realised that I've left my notes on who can win and how on my desk at home. I can remember the key points though - essentially if Milo finishes 3rd or better it's in the bag, and for Joe Lips or Richy Rich to beat Milo they have to finish at least 2 places ahead of him.

If the current top three bomb out early, Michael Stoner has an outside chance of winning the tournament by finishing first.

The alternate Thursday tourneys at the Black Bull in Longstanton are growing in popularity, and last week saw 2 tables of 9. Darren Shone wins the short 6-game championship with the most points, the most wins and the highest average.

I'm busy organising things for Saturday April 7. I'm starting to get a feel for what stock to get in for the bar, Dave Robinson is helping us out with food, and now it's just a case of getting as accurate idea of numbers as possible, so please let me know whether or not you're intending to come, and if you're bring guests.
