End of Jan update

In Longstanton two regular players, Michael Stoner and Phil Bradley, out in front. Meanwhile, in Oakington things are slightly more evenly spread. No doubt next week Rob Whitmore will be looking to extend his lead while everyone on 500 points or so will be looking to make the final table to keep themselves in contention, particularly Michael Stoner who is currently in 4th and could be thinking of the possibility of becoming the first player to win both leagues at the same time!

We've seen quite a few new players over the past couple of months. Oakington has had 43 different players since October compared with 41 in Longstanton where 3 tables could potentially become the norm.

On Saturday March 30 there will be another special event at the Black Bull along the same lines as the last one. Entry is strictly tickets in advance and places are limited to a maximum of 30 - first come first served, so let me know as soon as you can if you'd like a seat, or would like more info.
