Poker update - Jan 16

27 players took part in last Tuesday's tournament at the White Horse - a game that saw the final blinds hit 20,000 40,000 for the first time. Keith Bate pipped Joe Lipscomb who bounced back fro a short stack on the final table only to be practically wiped out by huge bluff.

Keith's win puts him back at 5th place and within a win of the top spot.

8 players kicked off the latest Black Bull poker season on Thursday Jan 12. The game was won by Phil Bradley who probably won't stay at the top of the table for too long as his poker-playing season comes to an end soon.

There should be a game at the Black Bull every alternate Thursday from now on, as long as there is demand. The timing, format, chip values and all other aspects are exactly the same as at the White Horse. If you'd like to play on Jan 26 please pre-register on the website if you can.

Cheers,

Mat.
