This is the first post since pubs were obliged to close in the lockdown of March 2020
Now that it seems safe enough to play cards in pubs again, I'm rebooting the Cambridge Pub Poker website.
I've heard that regular games started again some time ago, but I've not personally played poker since March 2020, partly as since moving to Burwell I've not seen any games advertised locally, until this week when I learned that there might be a game in a neighbouring village - I'll post more details if there are any.
The possibility of a pub poker tournament wasn't the incentive for reviving the website though - that was mainly triggered after reviewing a number of old projects and remembering all the clever things I'd added to the online tournament manager over the 10+ years of running poker tournaments in pubs.
As I'm also looking for new online projects, it would be useful to have working website I can use as a showcase. A lot of my big client projects are either private and/or a bit dull.
