Update - August 23, 2011

The current league leader at the White Horse, John Baldwin, is currently 273 points clear of the pack, but still needs a few top table finishes over the remaining 6 games to avoid being caught by one of the 9 or so players that are only 2 or 3 wins behind.

There were about half a dozen players on the top table in Longstanton last week when Matty B didn't have enough chips to cover his big blind of 4000. He hung on though, and with a combination of luck and determination gradually got back in the running and eventually won.
